Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) are becoming more common as the Department of Defense (DoD) looks to modernize and streamline the procurement process. In this two-part webinar series, Partners Tim Furin and Maria Panichelli reviewed OTAs and provided contractors with the information they need to prepare themselves for the changing landscape of DoD procurement.
Part One: A Basic Overview
In Part One, Tim and Maria discussed the basics of OTAs, including a general overview of “other transaction” authorities and the current state of the law. They also provided information on where the government is advertising OTA opportunities (OT solicitation methods) and how interested commercial entities can determine if they are eligible to participate.
